Harry Brook Sparks Mind Games with Bold Claim on India Before Manchester Test

After Team India was given a massive 608-run target at Edgbaston, England's star hitter Harry Brook made the shocking assertion that they are afraid of them in terms of setting a total. After England successfully chased down 371 at Headingley to defeat India in the first Test by five wickets, the incident took place. India didn't take any chances in the following game at Edgbaston, setting a target of over 600 runs to make sure they didn't suffer another loss, as it was England's second-most successful fourth-innings chase in Test history.
India set an absurd goal in the Edgbaston encounter, which, Brook claimed, increased their confidence for the next games since they recognized the opposition's uncertainty regarding what total is secure.
"At Edgbaston, they set an absurd total for us." "They were a little bit afraid of setting us a total that we could potentially get. So that played into our favor and gave us a lot of confidence as well, going into other games going forward," Brook stated in the press conference prior to the Manchester Test.

Brook considers the victories at Lord's and Headingley.
Brook praised the Headingley run chase as a remarkable triumph, praising the team's tenacity and resolve. He also highlighted the tense conclusion of the following Test, singling out Ben Stokes for his composure and command under pressure during the last moments.
"Chasing that total at Headingley was also an amazing victory. It was also amazing to see the battle and resolve we displayed in the last match to take that last wicket, along with the talent and patience Stokes exhibited during the time when we were having trouble getting a wicket. I'm certain it kept everyone on the edge of their seats, he said.
The ECB, on the other hand, announced on Monday that Liam Dawson has been named to England's team for the fourth Test against India at Old Trafford, which will be the spinner's comeback to the Test arena following an eight-year absence. The only modification to the playing XI is the addition of the 35-year-old Hampshire left-arm spinner, who is taking the place of the injured Shoaib Bashir. In July 2017, Dawson last played in a Test match, earning his third cap.
