India, June 16 – Charles Barkley has addressed Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers' missed opportunity on Friday night. The Pacers would have been only one victory away from winning the franchise's first NBA title if they had taken a 3-1 series lead. Rather, in front of their home crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, they fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 111-104.

Haliburton scored 18 points and dished out seven assists for the Pacers. T.J. McConnell and Bennedict Mathurin each scored only eight points in Game 4, with Mathurin having scored 27 in Game 3.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the league MVP, scored 15 of Oklahoma City's last 16 points to help the Thunder come back from a seven-point deficit in the final quarter. He had difficulty in the first three quarters.

Charles Barkley was outspoken in his remarks about the Pacers. "No. 1, they gave it away," Barkley stated on NBA TV. "I thought you could tell the difference between superstars, really excellent players, and All-Stars." "This thing was brought home by Shai (Gilgeous-Alexander)."

Pascal Siakam scored 20 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out five assists to lead the Pacers, but Barkley believed he could have contributed more to Indiana.

Barkley stated, "I have no idea what the Pacers were doing on the offensive end." "Me and Grant (Hill) were going crazy like, 'Yo man, get it to (Pascal) Siakam, he's your best 1-on-1 player.'" They didn't even execute a play for him. It was quite annoying. Grant, we can say anything we want about Oklahoma City; the Pacers really lost this game.
