Chaos on SmackDown: WWE Airs Car Crash Clip as Police Investigate, Cody Rhodes Appears
4 months ago | 5 Views
This week's WWE SmackDown got off to a thrilling start when the broadcast began outside at the location of a busy car accident rather than within the noisy arena. Adam Pearce, the RAW General Manager who was briefly taking over for Nick Aldis of SmackDown, was seen in the opening visuals managing the aftermath of the incident. Members of The Bloodline's newest offshoot, the MFTs, which is led by Solo Sikoa, were seen being questioned by local police.
The incident obviously had an impact, as the remaining members of the group—JC Mateo, Tala Tonga, and Sikoa himself—were attempting to tell the police about the unusual event while Tonga Loa bled from the forehead. Additionally, albeit for a different reason, Code Rhodes makes a brief appearance in the video.

Information about the accident was initially sparse, and WWE refused to provide any official account. But it soon became evident that the piece was part of a developing narrative, one that focused on the simmering internal conflicts inside the Samoan dynasty. As the episode progressed, doubt began to grow about a well-known name: Jacob Fatu.
Following the conclusion of the opening game later that night, another incident connected to the incident occurred behind the scenes. When asked about Jacob Fatu's whereabouts, Adam Pearce, who was visibly torn between his responsibilities as a manager and his concern for safety, directed the San Antonio police officers in that direction.
Fat's body language showed that he was clearly hesitant to comply, if not outright rebellious. However, despite Fatu's penetrating stare and reluctance, Pearce persuaded him to cooperate and report the incident to the police following a little standoff, implying that the matter is still not resolved.
The fact that Fatu has been labeled a "person of interest" only serves to exacerbate the growing civil conflict inside the Anoa'i family line, even if the reason for the crash has not been officially verified by WWE. It is unknown if this event will spark an all-out war between Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa's gang, but SmackDown's most recent plotline has taken a sinister, movie-like direction.
