India, June 11 The Pittsburgh Steelers were waiting for Aaron Rodgers earlier this offseason. On The Pat McAfee Show, he stated that money was not a concern. This seems true now that he has formally joined the Steelers.

Albert Breer, an NFL reporter, disclosed the terms of the deal. The $13.5 million, one-year contract that Rodgers signed. $10 million of that sum is guaranteed. If he achieves specific milestones, he may earn a total of $19.5 million.

Incentives based on his playtime, the team's performance, and any potential awards he may receive provide the additional funds. The details are as follows:

If the Steelers get to the playoffs, it's worth $500,000.

If Rodgers plays at least half of the game, a wild-card victory (or first-round bye) would be worth $600,000.

A divisional round victory with 50% play time earns $750,000.

With 50% playing time, the AFC championship game winner receives $1 million.

$1.5 million for winning the Super Bowl, with half of the play time.

$1.5 million if he wins the AP MVP trophy

In total, Rodgers is eligible for up to $5.85 million in incentives during the 2025 season.

If Rodgers leads the Steelers to a Super Bowl victory and another MVP award, he will get paid, and the club will also win big. For all parties involved, it's a fair agreement.

Perhaps Peyton Manning and Tom Brady did what Rodgers wants to do—win a Super Bowl with a second team. The Steelers are hoping to have greater success in the postseason.

It would still be a positive sign for the club if Rodgers only made the first $1.1 to $1.85 million in incentives.

Additionally, this season, Rodgers will face both of his former teams, the Jets and the Packers. Furthermore, if the Steelers advance to the Super Bowl, it will be held at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco, which is Rodgers' home state. The same club that didn't select him in the 2005 draft.
