Similar to the previous year, the NBA Draft 2025 will take place over two nights. The event's first round will take place on June 25, and its second round will take place on June 26. The event will start at 8 PM ET.

The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, will host the draft procedure. Cooper Flagg, a forward for the Duke Blue Devils, is generally anticipated to be selected by the Dallas Mavericks, who hold the first overall pick.

Since 1989, the NBA Draft has taken place over two rounds. Prior to 1974, the draft could continue for any number of rounds, even 20, at the franchises' discretion. Then, in 1974, it was reduced to ten rounds, in 1985, to three rounds, and in 1989, to two rounds.
