Saregama has released "Soona Soona," a deeply emotional song from the upcoming supernatural thriller Nikita Roy. The music label posted about it on social media with a powerful caption, “Some voids even time can’t fill,” which captures the song’s mood of loneliness and strength inside. The track was written and composed by Abhinav Shekhar and sung by Saumya Upadhyay. It explores the quiet pain left behind by grief, regret, and hidden feelings.

The music video, starring lead actress Sonakshi Sinha, hints at the spooky vibe of the film while keeping the focus on human emotions. Nigel Fernandes produced the music, and Shekhar handled both the lyrics and composition, giving the song a simple yet haunting feel. Saumya Upadhyay’s voice adds a close and personal tone, pulling listeners into the character’s inner emptiness without overdoing the emotion.

Nikita Roy is set to release on June 27, 2025. It marks Kussh S Sinha’s first time directing and stars Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role. The film features Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal, and Suhail Nayyar in supporting parts. It combines supernatural themes with psychological stories, making it stand out in this year’s lineup. The movie is produced by Nicky Bhagnani, Vicky Bhagnani, and Kinjal Ghone under NVBF Entertainment, with Dinesh Gupta and Mehnaaz Shaikh also involved.

With the release of Soona Soona, the film’s marketing takes a softer, more heartfelt approach. It offers a look into Nikita Roy’s mental depths beyond the spooky and supernatural elements.
