Rajinikanth stars as the main character in the forthcoming Tamil movie Coolie, which is scheduled to be released in the next few months. Coolie, which follows the Jailer format of Independence Day weekend releases, is helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and is slated to debut on August 14. According to recent news, the first song, Chikitu Vibe, is being produced for release, and a promotional video has been filmed. The advertisement will feature seasoned actor and director T Rajendhar.

Coolie, one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year, is set to be released in a few months. It's the first time Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj have worked together. According to recent media reports, the producers are preparing to launch the trailer for their debut single, Chikitu Vibe. The creators have already given a peek. The promotional video seems to have been filmed by T Rajendhar and Anirudh Ravichander. The release of the debut single has not yet been formally announced by the creators.

Coolie is an action thriller. While the plot of the film has not yet been revealed, Lokesh has confirmed that the film will not belong to the LCU universe. The makers have released a title glimpse before which shows Rajinikanth playing an aged gangster with gold smuggling as a major theme.

Sun Pictures produced Coolie, an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is Rajinikanth's 171st film, with him playing the lead role alongside Nagarjuna, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, and other notable cast members. The film is already generating enough buzz thanks to Lokesh's earlier successes like Vikram and Kaithi, as well as the music by Anirudh Ravichander and the cinematography by Girish Gangadharan.

Additionally, it was just revealed that Lokesh's next project will be a superhero movie starring Aamir Khan. The movie, which was originally planned for Suriya, is promoted as Irumbu Kai Mayavi.
