After a long wait, JioHotstar released Kay Kay Menon's Special Ops 2 on July 18. The spy thriller, which is already well-liked by its audience, once again captivated hearts with the fresh storyline. In Season 2, Himmat Singh and his crew battle a threat to India's digital infrastructure. The episodes of Special Ops may have names based on the days of the week, as you may have seen if you have previously seen the show. Are you curious as to why? See below!

The naming convention for the two episodes of Special Ops 2

The seven episodes of Special Ops 2 are titled Friday (1 hour), Saturday (1 hour), Sunday (48 minutes), Monday (37 minutes), Tuesday (46 minutes), Wednesday (42 minutes), and Thursday (57 minutes).

The plot of the new season centers around a scientist named Piyush Bhargava being kidnapped in Budapest. Sudheer Awasthi (Tahir Raj Bhasin), a fan of classical music, brought Bhargava to Georgia and blackmailed him into revealing India's nuclear secrets, followed by an inquiry into a potential cyberattack. To monitor Bhargava's rescue mission and create a realistic kidnapping atmosphere, the episodes are titled after the days of the week. As the days go by, Himmat Singh and his crew focus on saving Bhragava.

Regarding Special Ops 2

The OTTplay review for Kay Kay Menon's series, Special Ops 2, says, "Kay Kay Menon's Himmat Singh in Special Ops 2 won hearts once again as he protects his country with his team, and this time they have fought against cyberterrorism. The dialogue, workmanship, performance, and direction were outstanding. Despite the fact that the entire process is leisurely and lacks excitement, it forces you to work all night in order to complete the series.

With KK Menon reprising his role as RAW officer Himmat Singh, Special Ops 2 concentrates on the danger of cyber terrorism and the utilization of artificial intelligence in warfare. The series examines issues related to cyber warfare, data security, and possible privacy invasions while being inspired by actual intelligence operations. The plot centers on the abduction of a scientist who has access to India's nuclear secrets and the following probe into a potential cyber attack.

Friday Storytellers is producing Special Ops 2, which is being directed by Neeraj Pandey and Shivam Nair. It is now available on JioHotstar through OTTplay Premium!
