Dileep's latest Malayalam movie, Prince and Family, will be released online shortly. Starting next Friday, June 20, the film will be available on OTTplay Premium and ZEE5. Additionally, it has been verified that the movie will be available on the same platform on that date.

Prince and Family OTT release in Tamil

The movie will be released on the popular OTT platform at midnight on June 20. ZEE5 states that the family film will also stream in Tamil in addition to Malayalam. Since its premiere on May 9, the film has done well in theaters, drawing large family crowds to giant screens. The film, according to reports, is the actor's most financially successful work since the 2017 sociopolitical thriller Ramaleela.

The previous films of the C.I.D. Moosa star, such as Pavi Caretaker and Thangam, fell short of both commercial success and audience approval. Some are still inaccessible on OTT. In this context, Prince and Family might be seen as the actor's successful comeback. After 25 days in theatres, the Dileep film had earned approximately Rs. 16 crore, mostly from word-of-mouth promotion.

Prince and Family Plot

The protagonist of the film, Prince Chakkalakkal, is single and the sole breadwinner for his family. Finding a partner is difficult for him, and it leaves him feeling sad and lonely. However, a marriage proposal from a website instantly turns Prince's life and that of his loved ones upside down. Prince and Family starts by highlighting the Ishtam star's comedic talents, but toward the end, it gradually shifts its attention to the drawbacks of contemporary social media trends.

This entertainer is directed by debutante Binto Stephen. In this family comedy, produced by Listin Stephen under the Magic Frames label, Siddique, Bindu Panicker, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Johny Antony, Manju Pillai, Josutty Jacob, Meenakshi Madhavi, and Raniya Raanaa all play significant roles. The screenplay for Prince and Family was written by Sharis Mohammed, who shot to fame with Malayalee From India.
