After more than a year of its theatrical release, the Malayalam film, Nadikar, has finally announced its online debut. It was recently reported that the movie, starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role, will be streaming on SainaPlay soon. 

Nadikar on OTT in multiple languages

In addition to Malayalam, the film will be available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi on SainaPlay. Additionally, it is anticipated that Amazon Prime Video would live stream the film on the same day. News indicates that Nadikar may release its over-the-top (OTT) version by the end of July. A large number of individuals who were unable to see the movie in theaters are looking forward to its online release. From July 11, Tovino's most recent movie, Narivetta, will be available on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV.

Nadikar, which premiered in theaters on May 3 of last year, will soon be available online, much to the joy of the actor's audience. According to sources, the movie was expected to be available on the OTT platform just a few weeks after its theatrical release and was said to be headed to Netflix. The platform was unable to acquire the digital rights, however, because of alleged price disagreements. Due to the movie's disappointing box office results and negative reception, Netflix has been obliged to reconsider the agreement's value, according to reports.

Nadikar's plot and other details

David Padikkal, a happy-go-lucky young celebrity who runs away from his terrifying past, is portrayed by Tovino Thomas in the film. Soubin Shahir plays Bala, an acting instructor, while Bhavana plays his ex-girlfriend Ann Bava. The movie follows David's metamorphosis from an arrogant star to a professional actor who approaches his career with seriousness, all with a hint of humor. This movie, which is directed by Lal Jr., has its screenplay written by Suvin S Somasekharan.

Despite the fact that Tovino's depiction of David was praised by reviewers and audiences alike, the movie's script was judged to be lacking. The cast of Nadikar is made up of Ranjith, Suresh Krishna, Manikuttan, Divya Pillai, Shine Tom Chacko, Arun Kurian, Balu Varghese, Lal, Madhupal, and Dhyan Sreenivasan.
