Bhool Chuk Maaf, Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's rom-com, was ultimately released in theaters on May 23 after numerous scheduling conflicts. The film has been receiving positive feedback and is now doing well in theaters. The media has now revealed that Bhool Chuk Maaf is at last considering an OTT debut sooner than one may expect.

On OTT, forgive me for forgetting.

Bhool Chuk Maaf was originally scheduled for a May 9 theatrical release, but the makers cancelled it and announced that the film will directly land on Amazon Prime Video on May 16. However, they faced a legal dispute from PVR Inox, and after a legal battle, the makers announced that the film would be released in theatres on May 23. Now, reports claimed that Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi’s film, which is running in theatres, will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 6. However, an official confirmation is still pending. 

Abut Bhool Chuk Maaf

Directed by Karan Sharma, Bhool Chuk Maaf stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles. Rajkummar is a small-town boy, Ranjan, who is trying his best to secure a government job to marry his sweetheart, Titli (Wamiqa). 

The movie, which was produced by Maddock Films, also features Sanjay Mishra, Seema Pahwa, Raghuvir Yadav, and Zakir Hussain.

The OTTplay review of Bhool Chook Maaf, on the other hand, claims that the movie, like its forgotten lead character, attempts to make everyone laugh and fall in love but ends up losing the plot. In contrast, the audience complimented Rajkummar and Wamiqa on their performance in the movie.

The professional life of Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi

According to reports, Rajkummar Rao is discussing a Shoojit Sircar film. The director is ready to begin filming his next movie in the second half of 2025, according to Pinkvilla, and he has already written the screenplay. Rajkummar Rao will undoubtedly portray one of the two main characters in the movie, which is a comedy. Additionally, Rao is in negotiations for portraying the biography of Sourav Ganguly, a former Indian cricketer.

In contrast, Wamiqa owns Dil Ka Darwaaza Khol Na Darling and Bhooth Bangla.
