Previously, we stated that the forthcoming Tamil movie Thalaivan Thalaivii will star actors Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen. The movie is the actors' second collaboration, having starred in the Malayalam film 19(1)(a) before. The release of Thalaivan Thalaivii in theaters on July 25 was announced by the film's creators on Sunday. Additionally, they posted a title teaser that introduces all of the characters.

Pandiraaj, a filmmaker who has produced movies like Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Namma Veettu Pillai, and Marina, most recently created the Suriya-starring Etharkkum Thunindhavan in 2022. Thalaivan Thalaivii is the name of the director's upcoming film, which has been revealed three years after the previous one. Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen play the major characters in the movie.

The teaser begins with an animation introducing to an eatery. We see Vijay Sethupathi cooking and Nithya Menen eating, and there are glimpses of other actors from the cast. We see each of them being introduced as they devour food. The teaser begins with the lead pair cooking, as the voiceover teases the release date. Thalaivan Thalaivii is all set to hit big screens on July 25.

Actors Yogi Babu, Mynaa Nandhini, Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Deepa, Roshini Haripriyan are also part of the film. Produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under Sathya Jyothi Films, the film has been called as a “rugged love story”, and the title teaser released earlier showed the lead pair locking horns with each other. The technical crew includes music by Santhosh Narayanan and M. Sukumar cranking the camera. Pradeep E Ragav is the editor. An OTT partner of the film is yet to be announced.
