The digital rights of the movie have now been purchased by Netflix for a staggering 53 crore rupees, according to a reliable insider. To date, this is the most money ever paid for a picture starring Vijay Deverakonda.

The action drama Kingdom has been Vijay's most expensive picture to date, with a production budget of around Rs 130 crore. Netflix has invested a significant sum in securing the rights, demonstrating their faith in the producers and in Gautham Tinnanuri, the director, despite Vijay's recent run of flops.

The movie is being produced by Sithara Entertainments' Naga Vamsi. The protagonist is played by Bhagyashree Bose, who teams up with Vijay Deverakonda for the first time.

The film will be released in two parts, with the first part scheduled to hit the screens on July 31, 2025. As already reported, depending on the response to the first part, the second part will be shot. This has been confirmed by Naga Vamsi in one of his interviews.

Anirudh has composed the music, and three songs from the film that have already been released have ended up as big hits.
