Following the narrative read, Rashmika Mandanna too was drawn to the concept, flagging her excitement to join the film alongside Vijay once again. Rashmika, who is currently enjoying a strong run with back-to-back hits across multiple industries, will reportedly play a pivotal role in shaping the film’s emotional and dramatic arcs.

The project is also notable for bringing Vijay Deverakonda and Rahul Sankrityan back together after their successful film Taxiwala (2018). While Taxiwala was a sleeper hit celebrated for its quirky storytelling, Rahul later directed Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy (2021), which was appreciated for its strong writing but fell short commercially.
