The filmmaker made it his mission to clear up any misunderstandings and answer any queries on Monday, given the numerous rumors surrounding his upcoming picture, which included his film with Suriya and many others, Vada Chennai 2. Since its debut, devotees of Vada Chennai, in which Dhanush plays the major role, have been inquiring about the sequel. After waiting for a long time, Vetrimaaran has at last provided the answer as to whether or not Silambarasan will be included in his project and when it will actually begin.

Simbu will be in the movie, according to Vetri Maaran.

With Vaadivaasal on the backburner for the time being, Vetrimaaran announced that his next picture will star Simbu in the main role and will be produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. Thanu organized the meeting with Simbu, the filmmaker claimed, and with everything falling into place, Vetrimaaran also spoke about the rumors that the project was Vada Chennai 2. "This is not Vada Chennai 2, and whenever that happens, it will be Anbuvin Ezhuchi and will have Dhanush in it. However, some characters and aspects of the world will be present because it is also based in the environment of Vada Chennai. This will also follow a similar timeline.

Has Dhanush claimed copyrights for film with Simbu

The filmmaker also addressed the rumors that Dhanush (the producer of Vada Chennai) requested payment in exchange for providing the NOC for Vetrimaaran's film starring Simbu. Vetrimaaran admitted that Dhanush is the legitimate owner of the intellectual property rights and that there is no moral or legal reason to ask for compensation. He also said that he spoke with Dhanush about how his project relies on the actor as the legal copywrite holder. "He had said that he has no issues and that it is up to me. He did not ask any money for NOC."

Vetrimaaran stated that he dislikes it when others discuss him and Dhanush about the project and that their friendship is solid and will not be impacted. "He will never break the creative flow I have. Keep your head clear at all times, he advises.

In reality, Dhanush also urged Vetrimaaran to create a movie starring Simbu, and the latter also begged Vetrimaaran to make it in accordance with his demands. "Both of them respect each other, and are ready to give me the space to me myself. People who know me know that I won't give up my wish.
