One more star child for Malayalam film! Urvashi and Manoj K Jayan's daughter, Tejalakshmi, will play the lead role in a Malayalam movie. Sundariyayaval Stella is the movie's official name. Tejalakshmi, Urvashi's daughter, will make her debut in Malayalam film

At a press conference held in Kochi on June 11, the producers of Sundariyayaval Stella revealed that Tejalakshmi will be making her film debut with the picture. Binu Peter, who is writing the screenplay for the forthcoming Malayalam film, will direct it. Under the Ikka Productions brand, the movie will be produced by Mohammed Sali. In Sundariyayaval Stella, which will feature Sarjano Khalid as the protagonist, Tejalakshmi will play the titular role. On Wednesday, the remaining cast information was not disclosed. The media was informed that filming will begin soon in and around Ernakulam.

Urvashi's response to her daughter's film debut

The debut of Tejalakshmi, also known as Kunjatta, as she is lovingly referred to and even known in Malayalam media circles, was first discussed by Urvashi herself. In a prior interview, Urvashi said that Tejalakshmi had finished her education, worked for a year, and was curious about pursuing a career in film. The child had informed her mother that she would work for a year, and that if things didn't turn out, she would go back to her old job.

In contrast, Urvashi appeared in movies like Ullozhukku. On OTTplay Premium, her movie Iyer in Arabia recently had its digital debut.

Tejalakshmi is the child of Urvashi and Manoj K. Jayan. The pair married in 2000 but divorced in 2008.
