Top Kannada OTT Premieres This Week (June 30–July 6): What’s New on Prime Video, JioHotstar, Netflix, Sony LIV & Theatres

Well over 100 films have been released in theaters during the first six months of 2025, and only a fifth or fewer of them may have made their way to streaming. Such is the state of the Kannada film industry right now. This week, there are no officially confirmed original titles heading audience's way, nor are there any significant dubbed titles available on OTT. Jurassic Park Rebirth is the main release, but there are also a few Kannada movies that might appeal to viewers.
The following is a list of the Kannada movies that will be released in theaters and on OTT throughout the week of June 30–July 6, 2025

Kapata Nataka Sutradhari
The plot of Kapata Nataka Sutradhari, a modern political satire by first-time filmmaker and actor Dhiraj MV, centers on the consequences of an event that occurs in an old temple. A location for prayer where miracles are expected to occur; all one has to do is crawl beneath a stone sculpture of an elephant and pray fervently. When one of these individuals is discovered to be a Muslim man and becomes trapped beneath the statue, things start to go bad.
The movie Kapata Nataka Sutradhari will be released in theaters on July 4, 2025.

Hebbuli Cut
Bheemrao, a first-time filmmaker, focuses his social satire on the class tyranny prevalent in areas of north Karnataka by focusing on Kiccha Sudeep's popular haircut from Hebbuli and how not everyone has access to salons that provide this specific style. According to the filmmaker, it's a reflection on social injustice and the fortitude needed to demand respect in an unjust society. The movie, which stars Mounesh Nataranga, Mahantesh, Mahadev Hadapad, and others, was screened in theaters by Ninasam Sathish.
The theatrical release of Hebbuli Cut is scheduled for July 4, 2025.

Jungle Mangal
The movie Jungle Mangal, directed by Rakshit Kumar, follows a young pair as they try to find some alone time in a distant spot. However, their special moment turns sour when a party of townspeople uncovers their scheme and embarks on a mission to find the couple and punish them. The movie, which for once features Yash Shetty in the lead role, also includes Ugramm Manju, Harshita Ramachandra, and many others.
On July 4, 2025, Jungle Mangal will be released in theaters.

Pen Drive
Two female police officers are saved from a deadly snare set by a dishonest politician by the original Action Queen Malashree. Sebastin David's film features Tanisha Kuppanda, Kishen Bilegali, Archan Pillegowda, Sanjana Anand, and many more actors.
July 4, 2025, marks the release of Pen Drive in theaters.
