Thug For some time now, the media has been covering the movie "Life," which stars Kamal Haasan and is directed by Mani Ratnam. With high hopes, the movie was released in theaters on Thursday following a promotional tour throughout India. But the gangster action thriller failed to live up to expectations. Thug Life has made Rs 22.6 crore in India, including all languages, at the box office after only two days.

In Kamal Haasan's first leading role, Thug Life is a 2025 Tamil gangster action drama picture. Their reunion in the film, 38 years after the debut of Nayakan, was directed by Mani Ratnam and was highly anticipated. Nonetheless, several people have been let down by Thug Life, and this has had an impact on the film's financial success.

The movie grossed Rs 17 crore on its opening day. Although this is less than the first-day collections of Indian 2 and Vikram, the second day of Thug Life saw a significant decline. The Vettaiyaadu Villaiyaadu actor's film, which only generated Rs 7 crore on its second day, has seen the collections reduced by half. With the exception of Karnataka, where the movie did not premiere because Kamal Haasan refused to apologize after his remarks on Kannada caused a storm, this compilation includes all of India.

The OTT release of Thug Life

In addition to the Panchathanthiram star, Simbu, Trisha, Ashok Selvan, Nasser, Joju George, Abhirami, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and others appear in Thug Life. The movie will be available on Netflix just eight weeks after its release. Raaj Kamal Films International and Madras Talkies are responsible for the production of Thug Life.

The writing of Thug Life was widely criticized, but AR Rahman's album was well received. The plot centers on an elderly mobster who takes a kid in during a firefight and raises him as his heir. Their lives, however, change course as jealousy and treachery enter the picture.
