Thug Life's five-day box office haul raised hopes for what would be Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan's first film together in 38 years, following Nayakan. Thug Life, starring Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, and Trisha Krishnan, debuted in cinemas on Thursday. Nevertheless, the film has not lived up to many people's expectations since it has received mixed reviews. According to the most recent Sacnilk article, Thug Life's first Monday saw a significant fall, earning a little over ₹40 crore. An update on the "Thug Life" film's box office performance

According to preliminary projections, Thug Life made ₹3.11 crore on Monday. For the movie, it's the lowest single-day revenue thus far. Thug Life debuted on Thursday with a total of ₹ 15.5 crore and has not seen any additional growth in the days following. With its current gross of ₹40.01 crore, the film's total collection has reached that amount. The Tamil version of the film accounts for the majority of its revenue.

The report also claims that on Monday, 17.21% of Thug Life was occupied by Tamil speakers.

Regarding Thug Life

The decades-long tale of a notorious mafia boss who plots revenge after being betrayed is the central theme of Thug Life. In addition to Rohit Saraf, Ali Fazal, Nassar, Joju George, Abhirami, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Trisha Krishnan, and Silambarasan TR, the picture also stars them. In the midst of the controversy over Kamal Haasan's statement that Kannada originated from Tamil, the movie was released in theaters last week. The movie wasn't released in Karnataka because Kamal Haasan refused to apologize.

In a subsequent open letter to the KFCC, Kamal stated, "My words were only meant to express that we are all one and from the same family and not to denigrate Kannada in any way." The rich heritage of the Kannada language is not in doubt or up for discussion.
