Following the significant release of Suresh Gopi-led JSK last week, Malayalam film seems to be having a calm week, at least in terms of theatrical releases. This week, Oru Ronaldo Chithram, starring Aswin Jose, is the only Malayalam movie that has been released in theaters. However, at the box office, the lesser-known Malayalam movie will compete with Fahadh Faasil's Tamil picture Maareesan and the massive Telugu production Hari Hara Veera Mallu. On the other hand, the digital arena will see the debut of director Shahi Kabir's Ronth and actor Vinay Forrt's Samshayam. In this Malayalam movie, Roshan Mathew and Dileesh Pothan play the roles of police officers. As the senior and junior police officers conduct their nightly patrols, Ronth follows them. This movie, which was well-received by critics during its theatrical run, was written and directed by Shahi Kabir. The Malayalam police picture merits a spot on your watchlist this weekend because of its realistic storyline and outstanding acting.

A pair in the Malayalam film Samshayam, which literally translates to doubt, is tormented by a great deal of doubt. They question whether or not the infant is actually theirs! This movie, directed by Rajesh Ravi, stars the talented actors Vinay Forrt, Sharaf U Dheen, and Lijomol Jose. The film also features music by Hesham Abdul Wahad, who is well-known for his work on Hridayam.
