With several big hits in recent years, Siddhu Jonnalagadda was considered the up-and-coming star of Telugu film. However, his most recent movie, Jack, was a financial disaster. Jack didn't even stay in theaters for three days because the reaction was so negative; he was out after the first weekend.

Sidhu was mercilessly trolled for his humorous portrayal of a RAW agent, and the producers suffered significant financial losses. He avoided the media for a considerable period because of the toll this had on him. The movie, which will be titled Badass and directed by Ravikanth Perepu of Kshanam fame, was announced on July 9, 2025.

Today saw the release of the movie's first glimpse, which depicts Siddhu in a rather fashionable persona. Siddhu is seen lighting up a cigar in front of the press while wearing a black shirt and smoking a cigarette. ‘If Middle Finger was a Man’ seems to have a unique meaning and encapsulates the notion.

Under his Sitara Entertainments banner, Naga Vamsi will create the movie, which appears to be a comedic satire. Trivikram Srinivas will also co-produce Badass. On the other hand, Ravikanth Perepu, the director, had previously produced a movie called Bubblegum with Roshan Kanakala, which turned out to be a huge flop in theatres. Therefore, at all costs, he must bounce back and demonstrate his skills with Badass alongside Sidhu Jonnalagadda.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda has consecutive film releases

Badass will soon start filming, and it will be produced with a massive budget. Currently, Siddhu Jonnalagadda is working on the final details of his other picture, Telusu Kada, which is being directed by fashion designer Neeraja Kona. The film is now complete with its filming, and it will be released in October 2025.

Badass will also deliver a powerful message through Siddhu's character, according to recent reports. Popular filmmakers are being supported by Sitara Entertainments, who are producing movies one after the other. They are currently making a movie with Suriya that is being directed by Venky Atluri. After finishing that movie, Badass will keep filming in Hyderabad. Additional information regarding the female lead and other significant characters in the picture will be released shortly.
