Coming soon to The Great Indian Kapil Show is a third season that will have three times the fun from comedian Kapil Sharma, and the biggest twist? Navjot Singh Sidhu has returned to the team.

Double the judges, double the fun

Sidhu is back in his old seat, but he's not the only one in the upcoming third season of the Netflix comedy series, which will debut on June 21. "Double the laughter, double the trouble, and definitely double the taaliyaan (applause)" is what Sidhu promises as he joins Archana Puran Singh on stage, making it the first time the show had two judges.

As implied by the theme, "Har Funnyvaar Badhega Humara Parivaar," Kapil and Netflix have now kept their prior promise to viewers by including more comedic family members to the show. This season, Kapila Sharma will share the stage with his biggest fans, and Sidhu will return to make the program more engaging than ever.

Kapil Sharma on keeping his word

"Humne promise kiya tha ki Har funnyvaar badhega Humaara parivaar (We had promised that our family would grow every funny Saturday)," Kapil exclaimed with joy. "And I'm so excited to have Sidhu paaji part of the family along with Archana ji to enjoy all the chutkules, the shayaris, and masti." This season, jokes and laughter have tripled, so stay tuned because the atmosphere is set.

The comeback has a profoundly personal meaning for Sidhu. He said, "Coming to 'The Great Indian Kapil Show' feels like I’m coming home again. It is a home run for me. We heard the voice of the people, so many fans and well-wishers who loved our interactions and wanted to see more. Navjot Singh Sidhu's signature Shayari marks his return

He continued in verse, staying true to his manner, "Guru, humne milkar yeh aashiyana sajaya hai, guzra zamana phir se lautke aaya hai! (Guru, together we have decorated this home, and the times gone by have returned once again!) Main yuh hi nahi pohuncha hoon yahaan par dobara. Mujhe kheench kar janta ka pyaar laaya hai! (I haven’t reached here again just like that. The love of the people has pulled me back!)"

Key cast members including Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, and Kiku Sharda are returning for the forthcoming season, so fans can look forward to seeing both old and new faces, as well as exciting new developments.
