Witness the acting prowess of actor Jason Statham in The Beekeeper as the action-adventure film is soon going to have its OTT release on Lionsgate Play. The OTT platform recently unveiled the trailer of the film featuring Jason involved in a never-before-seen adventure, resulting in ultimate bloodshed and violence. The action-adventure film, which also stars Josh Hutcherson and Bobby Naderi, will be released on April 26 on Lionsgate Play as well as OTTplay Premium.

The trailer of The Beekeeper gives us a peek inside the life of Adam Clay (Jason Statham) who has abandoned his past life and become a beekeeper in the barn of his neighbour and retired schoolteacher named Eloise Parker. After Eloise becomes a victim of a scam, she shoots herself, forcing Adam return to his past life filled with violence and bloodshed. To avenge the death of Eloise, Clay finds out the criminal and aims to destroy him.

His process of avenging Eloise’s death results in never-before-seen action sequences that are a treat to watch on screen. Set in a peppy background music, the trailer shows Clay setting a building on fire attracting more chaos in his life. In the process, Clay realises that the fraud is more than a fishing scam and has a bigger agenda behind it. Do not forget to watch this mystery that is soon going to unfold on Lionsgate Play.

Helmed by David Ayer, the film stars Jason Statham, alongside Josh Hutcherson, Bobby Naderi, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Phylicia Rashad, Minnie Driver and Jeremy Irons, among others. The making of the film kickstarted in 2022 and the film made its worldwide premiere on January 12, 2024, except India. Now, Jason Statham fans can witness his brilliance by streaming The Beekeeper on Lionsgate Play on April 26.
