Actor Anupama Parameswaran, who was last seen in the Telugu comedy drama Tillu Square, will be headlining an upcoming film for the production banner Lyca Productions. The makers of the film made the announcement on Saturday and revealed that the first look will be dropped very soon.

All about Anupama Parameswaran’s next movie

Anupama Parameswaran, who has appeared in films like Premam, Tillu Square, and Karthikeya 2, predominantly works in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. On Saturday, Lyca Productions announced a new project that will be headlined by the actor. AR Jeeva will be helming the film, the title of which will be unveiled on Monday, May 6, along with the first look. The makers have not yet revealed the additional cast and crew members or genre of the film. The announcement poster features a thorny crown, further adding suspense to what kind of film it would be.

Lyca Productions is known for bankrolling many well-known Tamil films. Currently, it is producing the Kamal Haasan-starrer Indian 2 and Rajinikanth's film with TJ Gnanavel and Vettaiyan. While the first film is scheduled to release in June, Vettaiyan will hit big screens in October. The banner is also producing Ajith Kumar's Vidaa Muyarchi, which is currently under production and directed by Magizh Thirumeni.

Anupama’s line-up of films

Anupama Parameswaran recently announced her next film, titled Paradha. It will be directed by filmmaker Praveen Kandregula. The film also stars Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha Krish in pivotal roles. Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva are producing the film under the Ananda Media banner. The actor also has a Tamil film with director Mari Selvaraj, co-starring Dhruv Vikram. The sports drama will focus on the life of a Kabbadi player.

Meanwhile, Anupama also has a Malayalam project in the pipeline. Titled JSK Truth Shall Always Prevail, she will be sharing the screen space with actor Suresh Gopi. The film will be directed by Pravin Narayana.
