Nithiin had high expectations for his previous movie, Robinhood, which was directed by Venky Kudumula, known for Chalo and Bheeshma. The movie, however, turned out to be a commercial failure and is currently available on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium.

A review of the trailer for Thammudu 2025

Nithiin changed his attention to his upcoming movie, Thammudu, after the catastrophe. The film, which is scheduled for release on July 4, 2025, is directed by Venu Sriram, who is well known for his work on Vakeel Saab.

The trailer was just published by the producers, and it seems really powerful. Nithiin is back after a long absence in a significant action setting that allows for intense action, drama, and sentiment.

Former actress Laya returns to the screen in this movie as Nithiin's sister. The trailer features stunning graphics, skillful cinematography, and thrilling action moments.

The plot takes place in the indigenous village of Ambaragodugu and centers on the villagers' plight as they are held captive by a cruel villain, portrayed by Saurabh Sachdeva, who is well-known from Animal. To free them from this oppression, Nithiin's persona steps in. 

The female lead role is played by Saptami Gowda, who is portrayed as a lovely village girl. The concluding emotional scene with Laya and Nithiin really steals the show, despite Varsha Bollama's important part.

Based on the evidence, Nithiin and Laya's sibling relationship is still strained, and the film's main focus is on how Nithiin's character enters Ambaragodugu and solves his sister's long-standing problems. Although the story may seem ordinary, Venu Sriram's skillful handling of the feelings is noteworthy.

Thammudu features Ajaneesh Lokanath and Saptami Gowda prominently

The film's intensity is enhanced by Ajaneesh Loknath's pounding background music. Thammudu, which Dil Raju produced, displays excellent production values through its stunning visuals. Based on the trailer, this movie has a lot more to offer than Nithiin's prior endeavors.

The digital rights have been purchased at a premium price by Amazon Prime Video. It remains to be seen if Thammudu signifies Nithiin's necessary comeback.
