One of the up-and-coming Malayalam filmmakers whose movie news excites film buffs is Jithu Madhavan. According to recent rumors, the director will soon work with Tamil actor Suriya.

Updates on the initiatives of Jithu Madhavan and Suriya

The film, which is described as a complete entertainer, has Suriya playing a police officer, according to recent reports. Additionally, there will be a few Malayali actors and crew members working on the project. Following the Venky Atluri film, the initiative, now called Suriya 47, is anticipated to start later this year. However, the creators have not confirmed any news about this forthcoming endeavor.

Venky Atluri, who is known for his Telugu box office successes like Tholi Prema and Lucky Baskhar, is someone that Suriya is ready to collaborate with. As previously stated, Hyderabad recently saw a basic pooja ceremony. Additional details about the unnamed movie will be formally released in due course. Mamitha Baiju, a Malayalam actress, will play the film's female protagonist.

The Malayalam-language films directed by Jithu Madhavan

Soubin Shahir's Romancham, which is available on JioHotstar, was the filmmaker's first film. Jithu's previous and second directorial effort was Aavesham, which starred Fahadh Faasil. Because of huge crowds seeing it in cinemas, the movie debuted in theaters last year with the largest box office opening collection of all the Vishu releases in 2024. The picture joined the Rs 100 crore club three weeks after it was released in cinemas in April of last year. It is also the highest-grossing film of Fahadh's career.

Three young men in Aavesham seek out a partnership to combat their college bulli es. But they eventually fall into the hands of a well-known gang. Fahadh Faasil's performance breathes new life into Aavesham and enhances the movie's hilarious and thrilling aspects. Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan, Neeraja Rajendran, Midhutty, Sajin Gopu, Pranav Raj, Mithun Jai Shankar, and Roshan Shanavas are among the other actors in the film. Jithu Madhavan also penned the screenplay for the most recent film, Painkili.
