With Jurassic World: Rebirth kicking off the Super July 2025, followed by DCU's debut in Superman, three major releases will rule the month. The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel's first family, will round out the month. The market for three big-budget films from major studios is also likely to overlap. But who will come out on top? Superman vs Jurassic World First Steps for The Fantastic Four vs. Rebirth

Gareth Edwards is the director of Jurassic World: Rebirth, which is the fourth installment of the Jurassic World series and the seventh overall in the Jurassic Park franchise. The movie, which stars Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, and Mahershala Ali, was produced for $180 million. On July 2, the movie debuted internationally and appears to have gotten off to a solid start.

James Gunn, the director, conceived the idea for the new DC Universe, which Superman launches as a reboot of the DC Extended Universe. The $225 million movie, which features Nicholas Hoult, Rachel Brosnahan, and David Corenswet as the new Superman, will be released in theaters on July 11.

First Steps, the third adaptation of Marvel's renowned superhero family, marks the debut of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With a $200 million budget, the movie features the titular team of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn. On July 25, it will be available in cinemas.

The huge conflict at the box office

Jurassic World: Rebirth has already gotten off to a roaring start in theaters, bringing in $82 million in the United States during the long Independence Day holiday. The movie is expected to have a $140 million opening weekend in the United States, according to industry trackers. Deadline projects that the movie will gross $312 million globally during its first weekend alone.

However, according to conservative estimates, Superman will debut with $125 million. But more daring predictions give the movie the advantage, suggesting that it may make as much as $172 million in the North American market during its debut weekend. It is expected to gross between $280 and $320 million globally.

Box Office Theory predicts that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will launch with a $125–155 million opening. As a result of Marvel's global appeal, its global opening weekend gross is predicted to exceed $250 million.

Who comes out on top in the July box office war?

Due to the American Independence Day holiday, Jurassic World: Rebirth seems to have a five-day weekend advantage. However, it still falls just behind Superman and The Fantastic Four: First Steps on average. According to trade insiders, Superman will triumph on the global stage, although the Disney-Marvel picture is expected to dominate the American market.
