The teaser trailer for Stranger Things Season 5 has been released, and by all accounts, the drama in Hawkins and the Upside Down will only increase.

The introduction of Linda Hamilton's character was one of the highlights of the teaser's many delights for fans of the science fiction series.

Anyone who has been a fan of science fiction for a long time will undoubtedly recall the gritty, gun-toting woman from the Terminator series, and Hamilton also appears to be playing an action-packed part in the Netflix program. In a short clip, Hamilton's persona enters a room with his gun drawn, preceded by men in military attire.

In the explosive sequence where Demogorgons, the monsters from the Upside Down, are appearing, Linda Hamilton plays Dr Kay. She appears to be a member of a coordinated team working to control the situation.

The teaser reveals that Hamilton has authority, at least considering the armed force surrounding her, but further information about her role has been withheld. As a result, she may be a member of the US military or another agency of the US government stationed in Hawkins to keep things under control.

Given that the show's summary suggests that Eleven will be fleeing the US government, Hamilton's character may very well be an antagonist that Mike and his companions have to contend with, even though Vecna will still be their main priority. Kay, Hamilton's doctor, will probably be instrumental in making sure Hawkins stays in quarantine.

The launch date of Stranger Things Season 5

The fifth season of Stranger Things will be divided into two volumes; the first four episodes will debut on November 26. The second, which consists of three episodes, will be released on Christmas Eve. New Year's Eve is when the season finale will air.
