One excellent performer, Abhishek Banerjee, consistently captivates audiences with his straightforward yet compelling performance. In Stolen, he was seen not long ago. Karan Tejpal's survival thriller, which has been praised by reviewers and fans alike, is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. However, did you know that Abhishek almost quit the movie? The explanation is given below!

Abhishek Banerjee nearly turned down Stolen.

Abhishek Banerjee, who has been garnering accolades for his amazing performance in Stolen, recently disclosed that he nearly turned down the movie due to creative disagreements with the producer, Gaurav Dhingra, who was his executive producer for the picture.

“Honestly, when I first read the script for Stolen, I loved the story and the character, but I felt there were certain creative aspects that needed deeper exploration—especially with the character’s emotional arc,” Abhishek said in a press statement. I'm the sort of actor who needs to have complete faith in the role I'm playing, and I can't give the performance my all until I feel it in my bones.

Additionally, he stated that he and Gaurav had a very heated discussion over these modifications, and the actor insisted that before we went on camera, we had to get all of the specifics correct if we truly wanted to create something memorable. "I wasn't trying to be difficult; I just wanted the film to be the best it could be," Banerjee explained.

Abhishek Banerjee asserts, "It wasn't about egos."

The Mirzapur performer went on to say that they sat down face to face and went over every issue, every question he had. They discussed and resolved all disagreements under Gourav's guidance.

The goal was to create the best possible picture, not to satisfy egos. I believe that excellent partnerships are founded on creative disagreements that result in open discourse and, in the end, something even superior to what you initially envisioned. "I'm grateful to Gaurav for going the extra mile and helping us align our visions," Abhishek stated.
