GST, the first film directed by Kannada cinema's Talking Star Srujan Lokesh, is getting ready for its theatrical premiere. The picture, which is a horror comedy, was produced by Sandesh Productions (of Ghost, Harikathe Alla Girikathe, Viraat, Ambareesha, etc.) in collaboration with the Navagraha actor, who had previously tried his hand at film production with his earlier Ellide Illi Tanaka.

Earlier today, Srujan revealed that he had GST censored after finishing its principal photography in August 2024, indicating his plan to release it in theaters soon. Srujan is optimistic that the movie will be released during the window between Ekka (July 18) and 45 (August 15), and it has received a U/A rating. The actor-filmmaker is interested in an end-of-July release, but a decision is anticipated to be made in the coming days.

Rajani Bharadwaj, Niveditha Gowda, Girija Lokesh, Pramod Shetty, Shobhraj, Sharath Lohitashwa, Aravind Rao, Tabla Nani, Ravishankar Gowda, and Vinod Gobbaragala are also featured in GST, which is an extension of Ghosts in Trouble. After Srujan's father Lokesh starred in Bhakta Prahlada and Srujan starred in Bhujangayyana Dashavatara, Sukruth, Srujan's son, makes his film debut, becoming the third-generation child actor in the family. The movie also features a crucial cameo from the producer, Sandesh Nagaraj.

Since the beginning of filming, Srujan has been surprisingly silent about the film's plot, disclosing little to date. However, if the release is soon, be sure that he will start publishing promotional materials, such as teasers, music, and the trailer, soon. The actor, who is also a well-known TV figure, will now concentrate on the GST's release strategy after completing the most recent season of his hit talk show, Majaa Talkies.

Since Selfie Mummy Google Daddy, in which Srujan was paired with Meghana Raj, this will be his first theatrical picture. In the horror comedy Choo Mantar, directed by Sharan, Rajani made her most recent appearance.
