At long last, JioHotstar is streaming Kay Kay Menon's film Special Ops 2 via OTTplay Premium. Originally, the series, which was directed by Shivam Nair and Neeraj Pandey, was supposed to be released on July 11. What caused the change in the release date of Special Ops 2?

You might have observed in Special Ops 2 that the producers substituted the term "UPI" with "OBI" in the series. Based on cyberterrorism, the new season features Tahir Raj Bhasin's character in the role of a cyber criminal. For nefarious reasons, he seeks to gain access to the information of UPI (United Payments Interface) users. He also makes the same point in the show's trailer.

The old trailer was also taken out, and the new advertisement uses the word 'OBI' instead of 'UPI'.

“The producers must have been instructed not to mention UPI, as it is a sensitive topic”. The delay in the release date of the program from July 11 to July 18 might have been caused by the time required to dub and make adjustments.

In the meantime, Special Ops 2 features Kay Kay Menon, Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, Muzammil Ibrahim, Saiyami Kher, Gautami Kapoor, and Meher Vij in the roles of Himmat Singh. The cast also features Prakash Raj (a new addition), Tahir Raj Bhasin (the antagonist), Dilip Tahil, Parmeet Sethi, Kali Prasad Mukherjee, Gautami Kapoor, Arif Zakaria, Kamakshi Bhat, Shikha Talsania, and Vikkas Manaktala.
