Sharad Kelkar Exits The Family Man S3; Lonavala Plot Dropped

The Family Man will return to Srikant Tiwari's world of espionage for a third season later this year, but one unanswered storyline remains: the one involving Suchitra and Arvind.

Kelkar's departure from the show is confirmed by Sharad.

Sharad Kelkar, who played Arvind in the first two seasons, has formally declared that he will not be appearing in the third. Kelkar told Mid Day as he announced his departure, "I am not a member of The Family Man 3." The only thing I know for sure is that this adventure brings them all to the Northeast, and she might accompany him. The program is stunning, and I'm certain they've created a superb third season.

The actor's statement is likely to disappoint viewers who were hoping for a solution to the Lonavala storyline. The incident between Arvind and Suchitra during a business trip has been the subject of fan speculation since the first season. Although the suspense carried over into Season 2, the showrunners chose to hold off on bringing the story to a close, leaving audiences in the dark.

The filmmakers made a deliberate effort to keep Srikant in the dark.

In order to bring the audience into the same frame of mind as the main character, Srikant, the producers deliberately withheld the answer to "Lonavala mein kya hua" until the second season. Given Kelkar's official declaration that he won't be returning, the tale may opt to disregard that particular plot point.

In spite of this, the third season would allegedly broaden the show's scope to include geopolitics. Srikant and his crew must deal with a fresh threat in the Northeast of India. The season previews have suggested an impending war with China, which will put a lot of strain on the characters.

With the addition of new foes, old friends make a comeback.

Manoj Bajpayee returns as Srikant Tiwari, and Priyamani returns as Suchitra. In addition, Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur will both be portraying significant villainous roles in the next season. The show is currently in post-production after finishing production. The third season will probably begin around Diwali in 2025.

Although the show's plot and scope are ever-changing, the enigma of Lonavala may remain unsolved, at least for the time being. The developers have not yet determined if they will only address the mystery using Suchitra's story. Until then, the public can only speculate about the reality behind the closed door.
