The shooting schedule for Siddharth Anand's highly anticipated action picture King, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has just concluded at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai's Bandra, and the megastar is now preparing for an extensive trip across Europe. Before starting the next major phase of production, the team has taken a break; Mid-Day had previously reported that they had been filming in Mumbai since May 21.

The final list of European sites for high-octane activity is complete.

An insider claims that the preparation for the European leg is underway. They are now protecting places. The shortlisted cities, which include Budapest, Prague, and maybe Berlin, would see smooth chase sequences unfold, according to the source. In his quest for these sequences to be visually remarkable, Anand seems to have ordered his crew to look for previously unexplored sites.

The upcoming European schedule, which is expected to begin in the last week of August, is essential to the story. Abhishek Bachchan plays the antagonist in the movie, and Suhana Khan's role is said to be mentored by SRK. The movie, which bills itself as a spy thriller, will supposedly have thrilling action scenes and stunning film locations.

Quick break for the actors

Although the main cast is currently taking a break, there is still a long way to go with the movie's production. In the upcoming weeks, some interior scenes will be filmed in order to maintain the momentum, according to the source. They stated that these will be short, small-unit shoots designed to fill plot gaps and not necessitate the whole crew's return.

Shah Rukh is said to be working on several areas of King's post-production, such as the VFX, in addition to appearing in the movie.
