The final, or apex, episode of Criminal Justice Season 4: A Family Matter, which consisted of eight episodes, was made available on JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium) on July 3. The murder of Roshni Saluja (Asha Negi), a nurse whose lover, Dr. Raj Nagpal (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub), was the main suspect, served as the plot for the new season. But Raj has insisted that he did not kill Roshni. Who did it then? Let's investigate!
The Conclusion of Season 4 of Criminal Justice Explained
We learn in Criminal Justice Season 4 that Dr. Raj Nagpal's marriage to Anju Nagpal (Surveen Chawla) is kaput. Ira, their daughter, has Asperger's syndrome. Conversely, Raj is having a public romance with Roshni Saluja, a nurse at his hospital. Although Anju resides in the other room of Raj's house, she frequently comes to see her daughter. In the interim, Roshni looks after Ira. But after Ira's birthday celebration, Dr. Raj Nagpal was found holding Roshni's blood-covered body.
This is where everything began. Raj was arrested as the main suspect, while Anju hired lawyer Madhav Mishra (Pankaj Tripathi) to defend her spouse. Numerous facts about Roshni came to light during the inquiry. Since Raj was not marrying Roshni and was not acknowledging her in public, it was only logical that Roshni would be a little envious of Anju as well.
Anju, who was also arrested as a second suspect, confessed during the course of the investigation that she killed Roshni because she saw that the latter was deliberately poisoning her child. During a big argument, Anju unintentionally stabbed Roshni's neck with a scalpel, causing her to die instantly from blood loss. Consequently, Anju was taken into custody.
Madhav Mishra discloses real incident
The case did not end here. Madhav was perplexed when Raj visited him in his office to express his gratitude for saving his life and told him that his wife had been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He then reevaluated the entire case and concluded that Anju had accepted full responsibility in order to protect both Raj and Ira's lives. He went to the hospital to meet Anju, and during their talk, Anju confessed the truth that it was actually Raj who saw Roshni poisoning Ira and then killed her with the scalpel. Raj then begged Anju for assistance, which led to her concealing all the evidence.

Significantly, even Madhav Mishra, a former lawyer, was unable to comprehend Anju's approach. Because Anju was a lawyer, she knew how the case would go. She was helping to incriminate herself in order to free Raj, who was going to die from cancer, and since Ira would be in someone's care.
Madhav Mishra was recording the entire interview/confession, but he chose to erase it in order to protect their family.
