The recently released Tamil smash picture Tourist Family is now available for streaming on JioHotstar in a variety of languages. One of the most popular movies in Tamil cinema this year, with actors Sasikumar and Simran playing the key roles, received both critical acclaim and commercial success. Tourist Family is a 2025 Tamil movie directed by Abishan Jeevinth in his directorial debut. The movie is a comedic family drama starring Simran and Sasikumar in the main roles. Although it shared the box office with Suriya's Retro, Tourist Family, the movie was released in theaters on May 1 and went on to be a hit.

According to the Sacnilk report, Tourist Family earned Rs 86 crore at the global box office, which is a significant achievement for a picture with no big stars and a first-time director to make such large figures. Currently, the movie is the fifth highest grossing Tamil movie of the year. Million Dollar Productions created Tourist Family, which garnered positive reviews when it was first released. The movie may currently be streamed on JioHotstar in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and other languages.

The Tourist Family Scheme

The plot of the movie centers around a Sri Lankan family of four who illegally enter Tamil Nadu after fleeing their home nation in search of financial stability. They must adjust to the neighborhood and the new way of life without arousing any suspicion. The major role of father is played by the Ayothi actor, with Simran as his wife.

The ensemble cast of Tourist Family includes Yogi Babu, Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, MS Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bucks, Elango Kumaravel, Sreeja Ravi, and others. A Sean Roldan musical, the film is shot by cinematographer Aravind Viswanathan and edited by Barath Vikraman.
