Following the release of the eagerly awaited teaser, Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar has dominated the digital world of Bollywood this Sunday. Despite the hype surrounding the movie among Bollywood enthusiasts, viewers from the South quickly noted that Sara Arjun is also in the Ranveer Singh-starring picture. For those unfamiliar with her, Sara was a well-known child performer who portrayed the charming daughter in Vikram's Deiva Thirumagal and the lively young woman in Annmariya Kalippilaanu.

Ranveer Singh is the main character in the forthcoming Hindi film Dhurandhar, which is advertised as a spy thriller. Adithya Dhar's film's teaser or first look was unveiled on the afternoon of July 6. Sara Arjun's presence in the 2.39-minute film, which stars a tough Ranveer Singh, is what grabbed the attention of South film buffs. The brief peek released earlier in the day reveals that her personality has a strong connection to Ranveer's.

The teaser also includes a rap by the Malayali-origin rapper Hanumankind, who made his acting debut in the Malayalam movie Rifle Club in 2024.

Sara Arjun’s noted Tamil, Malayalam films

For the unversed, Sara was a notable child artiste in several films in the last decade. One of her best known roles as a child artiste is from the Tamil film Deiva Thirumagal, starring Vikram. Another pivotal role of Sara was in Saivam, another Tamil movie. She was recently seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2. Sara has won positive feedback for her performances in these films with Deiva Thirumagal securing a special place among the fans.

On the other hand, she also played the titular role of Annmariya in the Malayalam film Annmariya Kalippilaanu. The film features Sunny Wayne in a key role along with Aju Varghese. Dhurandhar release

Dhurandhar is all set to release in theatres on December 5, 2025, the latest teaser has confirmed. Apart from Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun, the film also features Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan and Arjun Rampal.
