Samantha Ruth Prabhu's debut as a Telugu film producer is marked by Subham. The movie, which she co-produced with Raj Nidumuru, was released in Telugu in a big way. Despite a dismal opening, the Theri star jumped into action, vigorously marketed the movie, and ultimately made it profitable.

Samantha initially negotiated a contract with ZEE5 for the satellite and digital rights. Nevertheless, the OTT contract was terminated at the last minute because of the movie's sluggish beginning. Having no other option, Samantha went to JioCinema and secured a new OTT agreement.

As a film with no famous actors, Samantha's acquisition of the OTT rights for Subham for Rs 3 crore is a fantastic deal, and we have learned it exclusively. Despite a modest budget of Rs 2.5 crore, Subham was produced, and according to reports, Samantha paid an additional Rs 1 crore for advertising. Everything the movie made in theaters was now pure profit since the OTT arrangement alone covered her entire investment.

During its theatrical run, Subham made about Rs 7 crore. The movie is a horror comedy directed by Praveen Kandregula of Mail notoriety. At first, it had trouble attracting theater footfall because it lacked star actors, which, ironically, helped generate hype around its OTT release.

The plot centers on a group of women who become possessed at 9 p.m. while viewing a television series. The audience loved the humor and distinctive delivery of the backstory. In addition to her roles in Auto Nagar Surya and Rabhasa, Samantha also had a cameo in Subham, much to the delight of her admirers.
