The Saiyaara juggernaut will continue for some time. In defiance of all predictions, the movie has performed well on its first Monday, capping off a record-breaking opening weekend. The international collections are also starting to get better, and Saiyaara is now moving closer to significant accomplishments.

Worldwide box office sales for Saiyaara

Saiyara made a net profit of ₹108 crore (₹128 crore gross) in India during its four days. Its Monday haul of ₹24 crore is just a 33% decrease from Sunday's total of ₹35.75 crore. Saiyara has gained momentum on the global stage as well. The picture had made more than $2.6 million (₹23 crore) abroad by Monday, bringing Saiyaara's global total to ₹151 crore. As a result, this is just the fifth Hindi movie to surpass the barrier in the romantic drama genre this year. Kesari Chapter 2 (₹144 crore) and Sky Force (₹146 crore) are two Akshay Kumar movies that Saiyaara has surpassed in lifetime box office sales as of Monday.

The box office results show that Saiyaara surpassed Aashiqui 2.

However, Saiyaara has accomplished something greater by surpassing Aashiqui 2's ultimate box office earnings, which also marks the debuts of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Both reviewers and moviegoers have compared Saiyaara to Mohit Suri's 2013 box office hit, Aashiqui 2. The movie starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor made 110 crores rupees around the world.

Although Saiyaara has outperformed Aashiqui 2 in terms of gross box office results, it still has a ways to go in terms of profitability. With a production cost of ₹15 crores, Aashiqui 2 earned a gross revenue of ₹110 crores. To match that level of profit, Saiyaara, which has a ₹50-crore budget, would need to make more than ₹380 crore.

Regarding Saiyaara

Saiyaara, which is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Akshay Widhani, the CEO of YRF, tells the story of Krish Kapoor (Ahaan Panday), an aspiring singer, and Vaani Batra (Aneet Padda), an aspiring journalist turned lyricist. They are brought together by fate for a musical collaboration, which eventually turns into love.
