News on the Box Office Revenue for Saiyaara

Starring Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday, Saiyaara has been smashing box office records and surpassing the achievements of well-liked movies one after the other. The movie has established itself as the love story with the greatest opening weekend ever. Mohit Suri's film surpassed Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's Kabir Singh after the third day.

According to Sacnilk, Saiyaara made 37.00 crores in revenue. This brings the overall box office revenue to Rs. 83 crore, surpassing Kabir Singh's Rs. 70.83 crore gross after the third day, which was a record. At this rate, Saiyaara will probably surpass Rs. 100 crore on its fourth day.

Did you know Saiyaara was actually Aashiqui 3?

In an earlier chat with Pinkvilla, Mohit Suri has confirmed that he was initially thinking about the idea of making Aashiqui 3 (now Saiyaara) with Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt. 

"I know, they have a very sensitive relationship. They are friends at times, and then they are not. So, I thought of this idea for Aashiqui 3, which is now Saiyaara. But they were in a hurry and wanted to announce, which is something I was not comfortable with. I prefer in having a script first and then make an announcement. But to sum it up, yes, this idea was originally for Aashiqui 3,” Mohit said.

Meanwhile, Saiyaara has been receiving organic love from fans and critics. Some said that it is not just a movie, but an emotion, while some called it the real Aashiqui 3. The music of the film was praised as well. 

Not only fans but also celebrities, such as Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ananya Panday, and others, have praised Saiyaara, Aneet, and Ahaan's performances, Mohit's direction, and more.

Meanwhile, after the theatrical run ends, Saiyaara will be released on Netflix for streaming online.
