Saaree, the film which released in multiple languages and hit theatres in April, will be available for streaming on Aha and OTTplay Premium from July 11 onwards, the streaming platform announced. Saaree is presented by veteran filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma who has also written the screenplay.

A young man in a saree catches the attention of the protagonist in this psychological thriller, and the obsession leads him to stalk the girl and pose a threat to her life. The movie, which is directed by Giri Krishna Kamal, features Aaradhya Devi, Satya Yadu, Sahil Sambhyal, Appaji Ambarish, Kalpalatha, and other actors. Sashi Preetam, Rakesh Panikela, Dsr Balaji, Keertana Sesh, and Siddharth Siddu created the musical score. Upon its release, Saaree received mixed feedback. In an earlier interview with OTTplay, Ram Gopal Varma stated that the movie is about how love can turn into an obsession and eventually become dangerous when it crosses a particular barrier, which is sometimes what happens with social media where relationships may grow quickly. The plot of the thriller drama is based on real events, according to the filmmaker, who wrote the screenplay and produced the movie.
