On June 13, 2025, the Malayalam movie Ronth debuted in theaters. In Ronth, Roshan Mathew plays the role of Dinnathan, a rookie police officer who teams up with sub-inspector Dileesh Pothan for a night patrol and the many scenarios they must deal with while working. The trailer and teaser revealed that the officers, despite having varied temperaments, were frequently fighting each other. The officers are also attempting to concentrate on their responsibilities while simultaneously coping with their own personal trauma.

Renowned writer and filmmaker Shahi Kabir, who wrote the scripts for films like Joseph by Joju George and Officer on Duty, Kunchacko Boban's most recent thriller, directed and wrote the picture.
