Recently, Rana Daggubati, who is also a producer, actor, and distributor in the film industry and the nephew of Venkatesh, shared his thoughts on the distribution system. When speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Rana stated that his uncle's film Sankranthiki Vasthunam did not have any OTT sale prior to its theatrical premiere. "My uncle's film was released for Sankranthi and continued running; it did not have any OTT sales. It was enormous. I believe there was a different audience that has to be identified and served. We are also working on and discovering the release mechanism. However, I am more confident than ever that there is a clear market for this film.

Okappudu will be presented by Rana in Kothapallilo

On the other hand, it has been a while since Rana's previous film Vettaiyan was released in theaters, but the actor is now promoting his forthcoming Telugu movie Kothapallilo Okappudu. Manoj Chandra, Monika T, Usha Bonela, Ravindra Vijay, Premsagar, and others are featured in the film. On July 18, the movie will be released. In addition, Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati had reunited for the second season of the Netflix series Rana Naidu.
