Rajkummar Rao, soon to be seen in Srikanth, revealed that he has seen Diljit Dosanjh-Parineeti Chopra’s Amar Singh Chamkila twice already. The actor, while promoting his own movie, could not stop praising the Netflix film. Citing the very example, Rajkummar also spoke against people trying to box movies as a theatrical or an OTT film.

Rajkummar on OTT vs theatrical films

During his interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar said that there’s no need to put a bracket on films, as theatrical or on OTT. “Aisa kuch hai nahi,” he said and then cited the example of Amar Singh Chamkila, stating that a film will find its audience anyway, whether theatres or OTT.

Rajkummar has seen Amar Singh Chamkila twice already

The actor further revealed that he himself has seen the movie twice already. He elaborated that he saw the film as an audience first and then wanted to understand the scenes that stayed back with him, because the scenes and the way Diljit Dosanjh performed them, Rajkummar was really moved watching Amar Singh Chamkila.

Game of Thrones the biggest show regardless of the medium

“Watching a film in a theatre is a great high that you cannot find anywhere else,” he said, then adding that a film is all about telling a story. Rajkummar then cited the example of Game of Thrones and how it would always be one of the biggest shows, no matter where it came.

Apart from that, Rajkummar’s most-awaited movies include Stree 2 with Shraddha Kapoor as the female lead and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opposite Triptii Dimri.
