Just one month after its theatrical debut, Ronth, the most recent Malayalam movie starring Roshan Mathew and Dileesh Pothan in the main roles, is now available online. Shahi Kabir directed the movie, which is currently available on JioHotstar through OTTplay Premium. The newest Malayalam police drama has it all, from the gripping plot to the amazing plot.

On OTT, where can I see Ronth?

On June 13, the Malayalam movie Ronth, which was produced in 2025, debuted in cinemas. On July 22, JioHotstar began streaming the film through OTTplay Premium. In addition to Malayalam, the movie may be streamed in a variety of other languages, such as Hindi and the other South Indian languages, with English subtitles.

Renowned filmmaker-scriptwriter Shahi Kabir, who has written some of the most realistic and compelling Malayalam police thrillers, including the recent hit Officer on Duty, starring Kunchacko Boban, directed and wrote Ronth. Kabir, a former police officer, offers a realistic glimpse into the lives of two cops as they conduct a typical night patrol in Ronth. The movie perfectly captures the relationship between the experienced officer and the new recruit, their regular challenges, and other aspects of their lives.

The cop drama features an ideal ensemble, including Roshan Mathew and Dileesh Pothan, who play the main characters of SI Yohannan and CPO Dinnathan.

The movie explores not only their formal responsibilities but also how they cope with their own life challenges. In 2022, Sudhi Koppa appeared in Shahi Kabir's directorial debut, Ela Veezha Poonchira, and he also has a minor role in Ronth.

The most recent Malayalam OTT release, Narivetta, features Tovino Thomas in the main role. The powerful movie centers on a tribal protest over land distribution and the ensuing police response.
