The highly anticipated romantic drama Raju Weds Rambai is poised for a grand theatrical release on November 21, and excitement peaked at the recent trailer launch event in Hyderabad. Actor Adivi Sesh attended as the chief guest and offered a strong endorsement of the film’s content, declaring it a “genuinely made, beautiful, heart-touching love story” that prioritizes pure emotion over fleeting trends.

A Story Rooted in Telugu Soil

Produced by Dolamukhi Subaltern Films and Monsoons Tales, and presented by ETV Win Originals Production, Raju Weds Rambai stars Akhil Uddemari and Tejaswini Rao as the lead pair. Producer Bunny Vas revealed the film's deep emotional core, stating that the story is based on a real-life incident from Telugu soil—not a typical romantic tragedy, but one involving a much more brutal reality for the couple.

"We often celebrate stories like Romeo and Juliet and Laila Majnu, but this is a story that happened on our own Telugu soil," Vas shared. He confessed the film's climax was so emotionally powerful that it "kept haunting my mind" for two days. Presenter Dr. Nageshwar Rao Pujari added that the film showcases a rare, pure love—the kind where partners are ready to live and even die for each other.

Musical Success and Cinematic Vision

Before the film even hits screens, its title track, "Rambai Neemeedha Naaku," has already become a sensation. Lyricist Mittapalli Surender thanked the audience for making the song a massive hit, revealing he penned the entire track overnight to convey the story's deep emotions. Music director Suresh Bobbili noted the song trended nationwide and promised that the film's entire soundtrack would be equally entertaining, adding, "Through this movie, we want to convey many things to you."

Director Saailu Kompati admitted his initial lack of formal script formatting knowledge but emphasized his clear vision for the emotional flow: "I knew exactly how to show the emotion, how the beginning, interval, and climax should be, and how the film should be made."

Addressing the Social Media Noise

Several team members, including co-producer Rahul Mopidevi and ETV Win’s Nithin, addressed the pockets of criticism regarding scenes shown in the trailer, particularly those interpreted as negative or anti-feminist. Nithin stressed that the film is not about ideology, but about the painful truth of a love story that was "buried for 15 years."

Director Venu Udugula vehemently defended the film's integrity: “This movie is not made with additions or deletions—it is made with honesty... Breaking barriers of caste, religion, and money, Raju and Rambai will be coming to theatres on the 21st of this month."

Adivi Sesh’s Seal of Approval

As chief guest, Adivi Sesh not only praised the performances of Akhil, Tejaswini, and Chaitu Jonnalagadda but also offered crucial marketing advice. "In this era of social media where people think only about viral content, bringing a pure love story to the audience is not easy," Sesh remarked. He recommended the team utilize silent premieres to build organic momentum, stating, "This is such a good movie... Apps may change, but love never changes."

With its blend of powerful emotion, strong technical crew, and a compelling true story from the grassroots, Raju Weds Rambai is set to deliver an inspiring and unforgettable cinematic experience on November 21.
