We had previously informed you that actress Priyamani is starring in a new Tamil online series that is currently in production. It will be the Tamil version of the English series The Good Wife and will debut soon on JioHotstar. It is called Good Wife. On Thursday, the streaming service published a fresh teaser on social media.

Good Wife: Priyamani's Tamil web series gets a new teaser

The teaser starts with Priyamani and Sampath Raj portraying a couple who have been happily married for sixteen years. Everything appears to be going well in their lives until the moment a scandalous film of the husband goes viral. The family appears to be torn apart as the husband pleads with his wife to have faith, while Priyamani is seen donning the lawyer's robe. The husband pleads with his wife not to abandon him as the teaser comes to a close.

Revathy, an actor and filmmaker, directs the forthcoming series. Based on the teaser, Good Wife appears to blend family drama with legal drama. The streaming service has not yet disclosed a release date for the series. The series will be offered in Bengali, Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil. The Good Wife was remade in a number of languages, including Hindi, which featured Kajol and was called The Trial.

Priyamani's additional endeavors

Priyamani also stars in the highly anticipated upcoming Tamil movie Jana Nayagan, which is fronted by actor Vijay. Directed by H. Vinoth, the movie will debut in January 2026. A teaser is anticipated to be released on June 22. The Paruthiveeran actor is also rumored to be involved in the biopic of Indian scientist GD Naidu, which stars R. Madhavan, and he is currently working on the third season of the Hindi web series The Family Man. GDN, directed by Krishnakumar Ramkumar, also stars Yogi Babu and Jayaram, among others.
