According to the most recent information, the director has refuted rumors that Premalu 2 has been shelved.

In a media interview, Girish said that he will start working on Premalu 2 after his upcoming film, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. The majority of the sequel's setting will be in India and other nations, he added. "We knew Premalu would be a successful project, but we never imagined it to be such an incredible success in the box office," the director said.

The sequel to the romantic comedy drama, which was a huge hit, was revealed last year. Recent reports claim that the movie was pulled because of disagreements between the crew, producers, or performers. In the meantime, others claimed that the film's delay was caused by the script's failure to properly follow Premalu. Premalu, starring Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in the main roles, earned over Rs 100 crore at the box office after a fantastic theatrical run.

Bethlehem Kudumba Unit of Girish AD

The director's next movie, titled Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, stars Nivin Pauly and is advertised as a romantic comedy drama. The main character of the movie will be played by Mamitha Baiju. The movie, which was produced by Bhavana Studios, which is owned by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran, was written by Girish AD and Kiran Josey. The team has made six films so far. The film's soundtrack will be written by Vishnu Vijay.

According to reports, the movie's production is set to begin in late September or early October. The pre-production phase has officially begun, it has been announced. However, there were rumors that the project was a big-budget film. In the meantime, it is expected that this project will have a fascinating ensemble.
