For some time now, Pawan Kalyan, an actor and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has not performed well at the box office. The actor had a dry run, whether it was because of COVID-19 or the prior administration in AP pushing for a limit on movie ticket costs. As tickets for the film's premiere sold for prices up to ₹700, he promised a complete transformation at the pre-release event for his upcoming movie, Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
Following Bheemla Nayak, Pawan Kalyan pledges to demonstrate his power
The 2022 movie Bheemla Nayak, a remake of the 2020 Malayalam hit AK Ayyappanum Koshiyum, was Pawan's most recent solo picture. The movie, which also included Rana Daggubati, grossed ₹158.5 crores globally. At the pre-release event, Pawan spoke about how the film's tickets were sold for extremely cheap in AP.
When the tickets for Bheemla Nayak were offered for ₹10–15 two years ago, I didn't say anything, he said. However, with higher ticket prices, we are releasing the movie during my tenure as you wished. At the time, you were determined to see the movie. After the hard work you did back then, I have now come out. Today, you will witness me demonstrate myself in the Dani taluka (You will see me prove myself now).
He also referred to himself as a hero who was raised on flops, adding that he is just looking for success for his fans and producers right now. "I've grown up in flops, so I don't know whether the picture will make crores." I pray for success, just like you do. I'm not sure if it will happen, but I know I gave it my all, and the rest is in God's hands. Baddalakotteyandi, mein nacchinda (If you like it, make it a hit). Because you (his fans) are my source of strength, I can't say anything else. My heart beats only for you; you have been by my side through it all, Pawan stated.
In TS and AP, the price of tickets for the Hari Hara Veera Mallu has gone up
The increase in HHVM ticket prices by the producers was permitted by both the TS and AP governments, which prompted Pawan to make his statement. The debut will occur in both states on July 23 about 9 p.m.
On July 23 in Telangana, a paid premier ticket will cost ₹600 + GST. With a ₹200 rise, tickets in single screens will cost ₹354 over the weekend, while those in multiplexes will cost ₹531. Additionally, it has been granted permission to show five programs every day. Tickets for single screens will cost ₹302 in single screens and ₹472 in multiplexes between days 5 and 11.
In Andhra Pradesh, premier tickets for single screens are being sold for ₹700 in cities like Visakhapatnam. Multiplexes are permitted to raise the base ticket cost by ₹200, whereas single screens are allowed to charge an additional ₹150 for upper balcony seats and ₹100 for lower seats. The increase will be in effect from July 24 to August 2.
Krish and Jyothi Krisna are the directors of HHVM. The main cast includes Bobby Deol, Pawan, and Nidhhi Agerwal.
