Paranthu Po, which has had a festival run before, is all set to release in theatres in India on July 4. The film will release along with another Tamil film 3BHK, a family drama. Paranthu Po marks first release in six years with his last film to hit theatres being the 2019 Peranbu featuring Mammootty.

A while ago, the producers published the trailer for Paranthu Po. It depicts the relationship between a father and son, focusing on a little youngster named Anbu who appears to be residing in a city but nevertheless feels alienated and perhaps unsatisfied with his parents, even if they are trying their best. We see the family embarking on a trip to the hamlet as the father and son set out on their adventure. At the conclusion of the trailer, the father is seen dancing, but the kid calls out his poor performance. The trailer concludes with Ram stating that the movie is dedicated to every parent who wants to demonstrate to their children.

The movie centers on a hard-headed school kid and his poorer father who escape the busy city on a road trip. As they learn more about one another along the way—and, by extension, about life—they encounter pleasant and unassuming people.

Vijay Yesudas, Master Mitul Ryan, Shiva, Grace Antony, Anjali, and Aju Varghese are among the actors in Paranthu Po. Jesse Kukku, Balaji Sakthivel, Sreeja Ravi, and him. The technical crew is composed of Mathi VS, the editor, and NK Ekhambram, who handled the camera crank under Ram's direction and writing. Sanathosh Dhayanithi is the composer of the music. Ram, V Gunasekaran, V Karupuchaamy, and V Shankar are the producers of the film, which has ties to Jio Hotstar, GKS Bros Production, and Seven Seas And Seven Hills Productions.

JioHotstar has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. An OTT release date is yet to be announced. Jio Hotstar is also one of the producers of the film.
