After its cinematic release, the most recent Malayalam movie, Padakkalam, has its digital premiere a month later. The fantasy drama, which features Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharaf U Dheen in the main roles, is currently available on JioHotstar.

Following a month of success in theaters, the movie began streaming on JioHotstar at midnight on June 10 and is making its digital debut. Padakkalam can be seen in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, in addition to Malayalam. Recently, the same platform began to stream Mohanlal's Thudarum in several languages. Despite being released alongside Dileep's Prince and Family and Asif Ali's Sarkeet, Padakkalam fared well in theaters, and many moviegoers praised its humor.

What is the topic of Padakkalam?

Padakkalam, which is based on the idea of exchanging bodies, is a tolerable source of entertainment with some humorous moments. The central characters in this film, which is set in a college, are two engineering teachers named Shaji and Ranjith.

All of the students prefer Ranjith, despite the fact that they are competing for the post of head of their department at the engineering college, because they get along with him. Shaji is hired, but his out-of-the-blue strange behavior compels him to take time off. One of their pupils, Jithin, learns that Ranjith, who has been trained in dark magic, is responsible for Shaji's strange behavior. Jithin and his friends' theft of Ranjith's Pachisi set, which allows him to use black magic, causes their lives to change course in an unexpected way. The movie focuses mostly on their numerous humorous efforts to tidy up the clutter.

The debutante Manu Swaraj directed this fantasy drama, which features key performances by Arun Ajikumar, Saaf Bros, and Falimy-fame Sandeep Pradeep. Niranjana Anoop is the protagonist, and Sharaf U Deen starred in the most recent Malayalam films, Bougainvillea and Level Cross, while Suraj played a role in Lucifer's sequel, L2: Empuraan. Vijay Babu and Vijay Subramaniam are the creators of Padakkalam.
